GETTING THERE Most
visitors fly into either Miami or Fort Lauderdale and then take
connecting flights to North Eleuthera, Bahamas (airport code:
ELH). Continental Airlines (www.continental.com) flies to North Eleuthera out of Ft. Lauderdale (FLL) and U.S. Airways (www.usairways.com) flies out of Miami. Bahamas Air is also a possibility out of Nassau. The "Fast Ferry" (www.bahamasferries.com) from Nassau also is a good option. A surprisingly affordable option for some families and small groups is to charter a plane out of Ft. Lauderdale. A google.com search of "Bahamas charter flights" yields numerous options. |
